Privacy & Data
KeepSakeNow is built to be private by default. You don't create an account, and we don't keep your photos or your story on our servers.
Your photos and readings
When you create a reading, the photo you upload is sent to our AI service to generate your story. We do not store your photos, your readings, or your personal memories on our servers.
Your photos and reading live only in your current browser tab, for as long as you choose: until the tab closes, for 15 minutes, for one hour, or for this session only. When the time runs out, or when you choose Delete, everything is removed — photos, memories, your reading, and anything still being created. Closing the tab removes everything as well.
If you add a second (current-day) photo or write personal memories, they follow the same rules: sent for your reading only, kept only in your tab, never stored by us.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, a major payment processor. We never see or store your card number. When you buy a reveal, a life timeline, or a gift, we keep only a payment reference so we can confirm the purchase and unlock your content.
Gift links
When someone buys a gift reading, we store only a random, one-time gift code and whether it has been used. We never store the buyer's or the recipient's photo, name, or story. When the recipient creates their reading, the rules above apply to them: nothing is stored on our servers.
Keepsakes, story cards and sharing
Your downloadable keepsake (PDF) and your shareable story card are created in your own browser. They are never uploaded to us. Sharing a passage shares only the exact text you selected — never your photo or your full report.
Third-party services
To run the site we rely on a small number of providers: our AI service (to write your reading from the photo), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider. None of them receive more than what your reading requires, and none of them keep your photos on our behalf.
Children
KeepSakeNow is not directed at children under 13, and purchases require an adult. If a photo of a child is uploaded (for example, a baby photo), it is used only to create that reading and is not stored by us.
Changes to this policy
